Sarah Palin's Per Diem Tax situation under review

According to MSNBC, the Alaska state Finance Director, Kim Garnero, has said that there will be a review of the policy under which Gov. Sarah Palin has claimed $17,000 in per diem payments and not paid tax on them. The review will cover whether or not the governor should be allowed to claim per diem for such a large number of days. The decision as to whether or not Palin owes taxes on the per diem she has been paid will be determined by the IRS.
