The View and Waffles

I'll be perfectly honest. If there is one woman that I like even less than Sarah Palin, it is Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I found her remarks about Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama at the RNC to be deeply, invidiously racist. She referred to Cindy McCain as "fresh as can be" in contrast to "another candidate's wife who shall remain nameless."

But on to the Waffles. The ladies on the View are discussing the boxes of Obama Waffles that were sold for some of the time at the Family Values Conference, sponsored in part by Focus on the Family. Four ladies are sitting at the table (3 with low necklines, Elisabeth's exposing more than I am interested in seeing) and talking, with most of the commentary by Sherri and Whoopi. Why, then, does ABC News headline the article "Hasselbeck Blasts Obama Racism"??? Perhaps because she had the lowest neckline, because it sure shouldn't be because of the innocuous two or three sentences she said, far from "blasting" racism.

Here is a link to the video, I can't figure out how to post it directly here.
